THE Don Bosco Technical College (DBTC) and defending champion Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC) Magis Eagles are set to collide anew for the secondary division title of the Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation Inc. (Cesafi) football tournament.

This after both teams beat their semis opponents yesterday to advance to the finals, which is scheduled on Oct. 8 at the Cebu City Sports Center (CCSC).

DBTC beat the University of San Carlos-Basic Education (USC-BED), 3-0, to advance to the championship. The Magis Eagles, meanwhile, edged the University of Southern Philippines Foundation (USPF), 2-0.

Last year, the Magis Eagles broke the hearts of the Greywolves via a 1-0 victory in the championship match.

In the collegiate division, the University of Cebu (UC) gave USC its second loss with a 2-1 decision at the CCSC yesterday.

Rustom Seares scored all of UC’s goals in the 30th and 39th minute of the game.

Venson Nery prevented USC from a shutout by scoring in the 20th minute.

In the other collegiate game, USPF routed the University of the Visayas (UV), 6-0.
