The men’s team of Convergys downed Eperformax, 3-1, in the inter-BPO competition of the 19th Aboitiz Football Cup last Sunday at the Don Bosco Technical College (DBTC) football field in Barangay Punta Princesa, Cebu City.
While its men’s team was off to a hot start, its women’s team, however, fell in its first game in the annuall tournament.
Eperformax got back at Convergys with a 1-0 win in the women’s division. In the other men’s inter-BPO division matches, Timex beat NCR, 1-0, Accenture and Optum settled for a 1-1 deadlock, MEZ United downed Vax United, 1-0, and Accenture won over Borbardier, 3-0.
In the inter-company division, Leylam FC overwhelmed Global Power, 10-0. Makoto FC beat San Miguel FC, 4-1, and Erco FC tripped Primary FC, 2-1.
