THE A Gym, 10k BC pugs shine Cebu Amateur Boxing Revival

THE A Gym and 10,000BC Boxing Club each scored three victories in the fourth leg of the Cebu Amateur Boxing Revival at the South Town Center in Bulacao, Talisay City, Cebu last Saturday.

The A Gym’s winning boxers were JR Velasquez, Jonwell Montefello and Alex Santisima while Berland Robles, Keyt Niño Abatayo and David Mancao provided 10,000BC Boxing Club’s victories in the fight card organized by the Amateur Boxing Association of the Philippines (ABAP), Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) Visayas and sponsored by ALA Boxing Gym.

Velasquez won by unanimous decision versus Sebastian Agohar of Team Joeric Boxing in the 30kg division while Montefello walked away with a unanimous decision victory against Charles Darwin Dosdos of Labugon Boxing Club in the 44kg division. Santisima beat Marjun Tagbe of Cabadbaran Boxing Club in the 57kg division.

Robles defeated The A Gym’s Rodulfo Maloloy-on by split decision in the 52kg division while Abatayo won over Alex Del Rio of Team Joeric Boxing by unanimous decision in the 42kg division. Mancao edged JM Casinto of The A Gym by split decision in the 22kg kids division.
