Talisay City police told to strengthen crime reduction strategy

Step up your fight against crimes.

This was the challenge given to the police officers of the Talisay City Police Station.

Supt. Ryan Manongdo, deputy director of the Cebu Provincial Police Office, said 73 police officers will be undergoing a two-week training to help them become more effective in reducing the crime rate of the city.

Manongdo warned on Thursday that those who fail the training will be relieved from their posts.

“With the support of the PNP headquarters, the regional director and the new chief of police of Talisay, there is no reason that the police officers cannot step up their game in preventing crimes,” Manongdo said.
