ROLAND Bantilan won back-to-back titles in the Cebu Tenpin Bowling Association (Cetba) Monthly Tournament after he topped the October competition last Saturday at the SM City Cebu Bowling Center.
Bantilan finished the six-game series with 1,275 pinfalls beating the tournament’s highest scorer in a single game awardee Micmic Miranda who finished second with 1,266 pinfalls. Bantilan was a picture of consistency all throughout the six-game series with an average of 212.5 pinfalls capped by a 220 in the third game.
He also won the September edition of the monthly event by toppling 1,352 pinfalls.
Miranda meanwhile, highlighted his campaign with a 263 score in the fourth game which netted him the highest scorer in a single game award.
Rounding off the top three was Celis Viloria who scored 1,265 pinfalls. Armando Despojo (1,245) and Fred Torrequemada (1,232) finished fourth and fifth, respectively.
Sixth to 10th placers were Baby Bacon (1,228), Jake Yap (1,225), Noel Marquez (1,218), Nestor Ranido (1,209) and Terrence Williams (1,200) respectively.
