FOR THE second consecutive year, the municipality of Carmen is set to host the Cebu Province Sports and Cultural Meet on Nov. 26 to Dec 2.

In line with the weeklong meet, the Cebu Provincial Sports Commission (CPSC) conducted the first of the three series of training in Badian which focuses primarily on three sporting disciplines such as volleyball, taekwondo and table tennis.

The next training schedules for Badian are slated on Nov. 3 to 5 for athletics and football and on Nov. 6 to 9 for archery.

Expected to make a huge noise in the competition is Daanbantayan, which is gunning for a three-peat after winning the past two editions of the competition.

In last year’s competition, more than 12,000 delegates from 44 municipalities in the province took part in the annual tournament.
