REY Velarde and Emi Osada topped the Cebu Tenpin Bowling Association (Cetba) Friday Group “Bowler of the Month” for November title last Friday at the SM City Cebu Bowling Center.
Velarde downed 1,045 pins to rule the men’s side while Osada finished with 1,120 pinfalls to top the women’s tournament.
Velarde was named Bowler of the Month for November for his win.
Ronan Barredo (1,043) and Marvin Sevilla (1,029) finished second and third, respectively.
But it was fourth placer Bong Emborgo (1,019) who was named Bowler of the Month for December since Barredo and Sevilla already won the monthly titles.
In the women’s division, Cynthia Uybengkee and Ram Gonzales, who placed fifth and eighth, respectively, were the November and December winners.
Uybengkee finished with 965 pinfalls while Gonzales had 933.
Second placer in the women’s division was Cetba president Gretchen Tormis with 1,051 pinfalls, while Inday Aguilar (1,009) and Sonia Gakenholz (975) were third and fourth, respectively. All of them have also previously won monthly titles.
