THE UNIVERSITY of San Jose-Recoletos (USJ-R) is in danger of suffering an early exit after absorbing its third consecutive loss in the Rebisco Volleyball Girls’ 18-under league national finals yesterday at the City of Sta. Rosa Multi-Purpose Complex in Laguna.

The Baby Jaguars, who made it to the national finals by virtue of winning the Central Visayas leg last June, were off to a terrible start as they lost to Holy Rosary College, 25-20, 28-26, and the Bacolod Tay Tung High School, 25-17, 25-23.

As if twice wasn’t painful enough, the Baby Jaguars lost again yesterday against the De La Salle Lipa, 25-18, 25-12, to stay at 0-3 (win-loss) in the Group B standings.

USJ-R will look to keep its tournament hopes alive as it battles the Angelicum Learning Center at 6 p.m. tonight.
