KOREAN pop fans in Cebu are in for a treat as a K-pop concert dubbed “Phantasm 2017” is slated on December 17 at Octagon Super Club in Cebu City. Lucy Lyn Lazarte, one of the event’s organizers, said the concert will feature performers from Cebu and Manila who will be doing covers of K-pop songs.

“The purpose of this is just for fun since we are K-pop fans and K-pop enthusiasts.

We wanted to do something special and something new. Love jud namo ang K-pop,” Lazarte told reporters in a press conference last Thursday.

The performers in the concert are Project Enigma, Helbi, Black2ThePink, BlackJack, Miss Understood, Saturn9ne, Equinox, Zack Tolosa, Elij Tolosa, Keith de Guzman, and Ken de Guzman.

“This is a dream-like. Since we can’t see our idols up close, maghimo mi og something nga closer to the real thing. A taste of Korean concert even if dili ang Korean artists at least mapakita namo through cover groups,” Lazarte said.

“Phantasm” is organized by Spade Events which aims to showcase the talents and passion of K-pop cover groups and provide an avenue for K-pop fans to gather together.
