THE Reception and Study Center for Children (RSCC) of the Department of Social Welfare and Development in Central Visayas (DSWD-7) is seeking the public’s assistance in locating the parents and relatives of an abandoned newborn girl.

The girl was found at a mangrove area in Barangay Tarong, Madridejos, Cebu by Barangay Captain Roger Garcia Alegre at around 10:55 a.m. on November 26, 2017.

The parents and relatives are requested to see social worker Vilma Cosido at the RSCC office on Camomot Franza Road, Katipunan Street, Barangay Labangon, Cebu City or contact her at 414-0243.

Failure of the parties to appear or claim the child within the period of one month will result in the child being subjected to administrative abandonment proceedings at the DSWD Central Office.
