Man loses gold necklace to snatchers

A man on board a public utility jeepney lost his gold necklace by two unidentified men while the PUJ was plying Sanciangco St., Barangay Kagamayan, Cebu City on Saturday evening.

According to the 49-year-old victim identified as Lawrence Antonio, a resident of Espina Village in Barangay Guadalupe, one of the two suspects grabbed his necklace and ran away while the jeepney was navigating Sanciangco Steet. The other man served as the back-up, he said.

Antonio said the necklace is worth P25,000.

The Parian Police are now conducting a follow-up operation on the incident.
