THE ABELLANA National School (ANS) will be replacing the Negros Occidental Football Association (NOFA) in the Hyundai Cup 2018 Champions League to be held at the Fr. Julian Hernando Football Field located inside the Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC) campus in Canduman, Mandaue City, from March 25 to 27.
NOFA withdrew its participation in the tournament since some of its players are still having their school examinations, said Architect Josephril Partosa, one of the organizers.
ANS will be joining defending champions SHS-AdC, runner-up Don Bosco Technical College, Don Bosco Boys Home, PAREF Springdale and the Great Oak Manor (GOM) in the tournament.
This invitational Born 2002 11-a-side tournament is organized by Hyundai and SHS-AdC in cooperation with the Ateneo parents and is sanctioned by the Cebu Football Association.
