Korean loses valuables

A KOREAN national lost valuables estimated to be P70,000 in a burglary in barangay Lambug, Badian town, southern Cebu.

Evihwan Jeong, 19, was away when his cottage at the Cebu International Golf Course was burglarized past midnight Wednesday.

Police said the Korean, who works as a manager of the golf course’s dive shop, was in Cebu City when thieves struck.

Stolen items included a laptop, an iPod, a digital camera and a cellular phone.

Police said they are looking for the golf course’s two security guards who have not reported for work after the incident.
