THE Eagles and the Rhinos are now set for a showdown in the finals of the Elite Basketball Club-Cebu Season 11 after eliminating their respective foes in the semifinals last Friday at the Visayan Glass Gym in Guadalupe, Cebu City.
The Rhinos cruised their way to the finals after routing the Cheetahs, 81-67.
Season MVP Melson Basubas fired 28 points to lead his team to victory.
Meanwhile, the Eagles defeated five-time Elite Basketball Club-Cebu champions Panthers, 73-60, to advance to the championship round.
Former UV Green Lancer Randy dela Pisa finished with 21 points to lead the Eagles.
