Man arrested for illegal possession of firearm

A 38-year-old man was arrested for illegal possession of firearm at Sitio Kitaras in Barangay Guadalupe, Alegria town, southwestern Cebu at past 7 p.m. Thursday, July 6.

The suspected was identified as Christopher Mejares.

Police confiscated one home-made shotgun from suspect’s possession.

The arrested person is now detained at Alegria police precinct pending the filing of charges against him.
