FORMER University of San Carlos Warriors guard Dave Guardiario was heads and shoulders above the rest as he tallied a rare triple-double in the 2011 Elevens’ 79-52 rout of the Batch 2007 in the quarterfinals of the USC North Alumni Basketball Conference last weekend at the USC North Campus gym

Guardiario registered 22 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists to with five steals and two blocked shots.

The Elevens will be taking on the 2010 Pioneers in the semifinals after the latter trounced Batch 2003 Stallions, 79-52.

Meanwhile, the other semis pairing will pit the defending champions 2008 Flyboys against the streaking 2015 Samurais.

The Flyboys leaned on the 20-point, seven-rebound, eight-assist outing of John Cabellon to get them past the 2002 Rock Uniform Solutions, 74-61. Ralph Alo and Miko Santos helped 2008 out with 17 and 15 markers, respectively.
