One of the two students who disappeared while swimming in the sea off Minglanilla was found on Wednesday.
Myrrha Daven, Minglanilla local disaster officer, said the body of Seigfreid Sagadsad was found floating in a shallow portion of the beach in Barangay Tungkil at 10:50 a.m earlier today.
Sagadsad’s body has been brought to a rural health unit in Minglanilla for proper identification.
Meanwhile, parents are urged to monitor their children in school after two Grade two pupils of Calajo-an Elementary School in Minglanilla town believed to have drowned while swimming last Tuesday afternoon.
Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office information officer Julius Regner said they have already sent search and rescue teams to help locate the missing children.
