The families of the two victims whose bodies were found in Barangay San Roque, Liloan town are now seeking for help from the Cebu City Government to hasten the investigation and catch the culprits.

Cebu City Councilor and Deputy Mayor for Police Matters Dave Tumulak said the families of Jaime Mata and Stephen Del Corro, who both reside in Barangay Tisa, Cebu City, wanted swift justice.

“The city government is willing to lend any assistance to the family. We will meet them today to discuss what are their plans, and see how we can go from there,” said Tumulak.

Mata, a grade nine student of Don Sergio Osmeña Sr. Memorial National High School, suffered two gunshot wounds in the head.

Del Corro, 26, and a call center agent in Cebu City, also sustained a gunshot wound in his head.

Del Corro and Mata were rumored to be in a relationship.
