Martinez only needs one vote to sit as ABC president – DILG

Even in the absence of an opponent, the election for Association of Barangay Councils (ABC) officials in Cebu province will still push through on Monday.
Celestino ‘Tining’ Martinez III will run unopposed as president of ABC Cebu province.
Jerome Gonzales, Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Cebu Province head, said that Martinez needs only one vote before he can be declared as winner in the ABC election.
The ABC election is scheduled on July 30 (Monday).
