At least seven Cebu graduates topped in the recent Physical and Occupational Therapist board examination.
For the Occupational Therapist (OT) Board examination, Jacette Ortiz Gucor from Velez College landed at the top spot with an 83.60 percent rating.
Loumaryden Torres Ballesta, from Velez College and Daugn Karisses Manhilot from Cebu Doctor’s University placed sixth with an 82.40 percent.
Nathaniel Gideon Tan ranked 8th with an 82.00 percent rating while Elizabeth Ann Esma, got the 9th place with 81.80 percent rating; all from Velez College.
Tiffany Nicole Jao, from Velez College placed 10th with an 81.60 percent rating.
For the Physical Therapist (PT) Board Examination, Nina Geraldine Yu, from Velez College, placed 7th with an 86.50 percent rating.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released the results on Tuesday, Aug. 14.
Out of 1,379 who took the Physical Therapist Licensure Examination, only 931 passed the exam. While 209 out of the 307 passed the Occupational Therapist Licensure Examination which was given by the Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy in the cities of Manila, Baguio and Cebu this August 2018.
