THE Talisay City District Hospital is again honoring City Hall-issued medical coupons presented by indigent residents seeking treatment after Talisay City Mayor Johnny V. delos Reyes guaranteed  to pay the P8 million tab charged to the city government.

At yesterday’s 888 News Forum, Delos Reyes said he and hospital chief,   Dr. Agustin Agos, has agreed on the payment schedule.  He said the city will settle the P8 million bills in a span of  two years.

The first payment will be done next month. The mayor also instructed the city’s social welfare office to monitor the situation and make sure payments are up to date.  Delos Reyes said he plans to acquire an ambulance for each of the city’s  22 barangays, a dialysis machine and other facilities for the district hospital.
