SM City Cebu’s most fashionable tradition is back on its 8th year with a travel-themed concept. Cebu’s young personalities took the runway once again for Glitterati 8: Style Take-Off last August 18 at the Northwing Atrium showcasing creations by highly-celebrated designers as well as pieces from SM City Cebu’s best-loved brands.
This year, Cathay Pacific joined the festivities in celebration of 8 new hubs that’s set to open this year, namely: Dublin, Copenhagen, Brussels, in Europe; Washington, DC, and Seattle in South America; Cape Town in Africa; and Nanning, and Jinan in the Asia Pacific Region.
In light of tradition, Glitterati 8 featured SM’s best loved brands in its show with this year’s focus on representing the 3 Cathay Pacific personas – Misadventure, Family, and Business – with brands including Forever 21, Mango, Terranova, Promod, Levi’s, Loalde, Espada, Arrow, Hedgren, Columbia, and The Travel Club. Aside from these widely known brands, this year’s show also featured travel-inspired creations by Arcy Gayatin, Edwin Ao, and Protacio.
This year’s batch of personalities include Kalyka Carcel, Bienco Cimafranca, Madie Siewert, Chloe Go, Ethan Rodriguez, Alton Lorenzo Amor, Audrey Salimbangon, Craig Uy, Treena Red Osmeña, and Nathan Red Osmeña.
It was definitely a show that was one for the books at SM City Cebu.
