Mother willing to cooperate in probe on taping babies’ mouths
Another mother who posted a Facebook photo of her baby who had a pacifier taped snug in his mouth said she is willing to cooperate in the investigation of the incident at the Cebu Puericulture Center and Maternity House Inc.
Her photos and two minute video showed how her baby Blaire sucked on a blue pacifier. The mother was gently touching the tape strapped across the baby’s mouth.
The mother said she thought it was protocol for babies to tape the pacifiers in their mouths because she saw two or three babies who also had their mouths covered by tape.
She said she came out with the photos and videos because she cannot stand the denials of the hospital about a similar incident.
“There is no problem with giving the photos and video but I still have to decide with my partner if I would speak to the inter-agency panel investigating the case,” she said.
