A NURSING graduate was arrested by police after he allegedly tried to sell the sexual services of a boy in an entrapment operation in an uptown hotel in Cebu City.

Eul Vincent Rodriguez, 27, a resident of barangay Tabunok, Talisay City, was arrested on Thursday night by operatives of the Regional Intelligence Division (RID) and Regional Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force.

Insp. Sheryl Basutista said a police decoy transacted with the suspect and asked him to bring  the boy to his hotel room.

The suspect then brought a 14-year-old boy to the hotel where he was eventually arrested after accepting P10,000 from the poseur-customer.

Police said the suspect usually dealt with foreigners through social networking sites.

Police said the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement has been monitoring the suspect.

Supt. Paul Labra II, RID chief, said that aside from Rodriguez, police are also monitoring individuals suspected to be involved in sexual exploitation.

In an interview, Bautista admitted he is a pimp.
Rodriguez said he  engaged in the illegal activity because this trade had made his neighbor rich.
