Police arrest suspect in killing of senior citizen
Police have arrested on Sunday morning (November 4) one of the suspects in the killing of a 69-year-old woman.
Supt. Marlu Conag, chief of Talisay City police station, said that the immediately conducted a hot pursuit operation after they recovered the body of Victoria Po Loa inside a refrigerator.
The suspect was identified as Jay-r Banilad, who was arrested in Badian town, Cebu through the joint efforts of the police stations of Talisay City, Badian and Moalboal towns, and the Provincial Mobile Force Company.
Conag said that they were able to confiscate a .45 caliber pistol from the suspect.
The two other suspecs, Johnny Duarme and Jeffrey Duarme, remain at large.
