Cebuano archers rule Nat’l Indoor Archery CHAMPIONSHIPS

THE Cebu Archery Club reigned supreme in the 2018 National Indoor Archery Championship held last November 23 to 25 at the Ormoc Superdome in Ormoc City.

The Cebuanos accounted for a medal tally of six golds, eight silvers and four bronzes.

Contributing two gilts each were Aldrener Igot, Jr., Christian C. Caresosa and Khalil Justine A. Abella.

Igot bagged the gold medals in the Recurve Cub of both the Qualifying and Olympic rounds.

Caresosa, for his part, earned his two gold medals via the Recurve Cadet, also in both the Qualifying and Olympic rounds.

Abella, on the other hand, topped the Recurve Junior, also both in the Qualifying and Olympic rounds.

Caresosa also added a silver and a bronze to his count. He bagged the silver via the Recurve Senior in the Olympic round and the bronze in the Recurve Senior Qualifying round.

The rest of the silver medals were chipped in by Khalil Jusper Abella and Lloyd Apawan with two each, Zhack Randolf Torreon, Densil Shiane Dinopol and Khalin Alyx Abella.

While aside from Caresosa, Nino Maandig also contributed two bronzes, while the remaining bronze was handed in by Dinopol.
