The Maribago Beach Club shined with an abundance of colors as they lit up a 20-feet tall Christmas tree on November 17, marking the beginning of the Christmas festivities for the world-class Mactan Island resort.
According to Dominiko Ugarte, the assistant manager of the Maribago Beach Club, the lighting of the Christmas tree was a symbol of Maribago Beach Club’s success in 2018.
It also signified the upcoming year-long celebration of Maribago Beach Club 35th anniversary on 2019.
The tree was made up of hundreds of colorful Christmas lanterns packed together to form a pyramid-trail of stars at the center of the resort.
Meanwhile, the Balay Pasko was also launched that day. It is a pastry shop at the Bluewater Gallery housing a variety of sweets such as chocolate chip cookies and the signature chocolate chicharon.
The Balay Pasko will be open until January 2019.
