Lady lawyer killed in collision with car

A female lawyer died shortly in a hit and run incident along Escario street in Cebu City.
Norma Garciano, chief legal officer of the Cebu CFI Community Cooperative died on the spot after a gray Mitsubishi Strada hit her Wednesday morning.
The vehicle was later traced to the suspect, Junette July Yamyamin.
Yamyamin told Cebu City Traffic Operations Management (Citom) she did not try to escape responsibility. She said she did not know she hit someone.
She said she went back to the scene and found out Garciano was already dead and voluntarily surrendered to Fuente Police Station.
