Cebu City, Philippines — In less than a year, a new Matias H. Aznar Memorial (MHAM) College of Medicine Inc. campus will be complete in Banawa, Cebu City.
The new 10-story building with a 7-story annex building will sit on a 4,000 square-meter lot.
College Dean Dr. Soccorro Manaloto said that once the new building will be finished within the second quarter of 2019, the existing campus at the Redemptorist Plaza, which has been in operation for five years now, will cease operations.
“That’s why we are more than glad and excited that we will be about to transfer to our new home now in Banawa,” said Manaloto.
The new MHAM campus boasts a 24-hour learning common, small group discussion rooms, simulations rooms and state of the art equipment to improve the manner of teaching and learning instruction.
“As we (MHAM) move int a new home, hopefully, this will set new inspiration and develop new breeds of successful doctors,” said Manaloto. /bmjo
