Sunday afternoon fire burns grasses, garbage at Umapad dumpsite

CEBU CITY, Philippines – Fire broke at the dumpsite in Barangay Umapad in Mandaue City at around noontime today, April 7.

Senior Fire Officer 1 (SFO1) Dominic Lastimoso, radio operator of the Mandaue City Fire Department, said that the fire burned grasses and piles of garbage at the dumpsite.

The fire broke at 11:39 a.m. and was raised to second alarm at 12:15 p.m. It was placed under control at 12:47 p.m./dcb
