CEBU CITY, Philippines — A one stop shop manned by police officers and other local agencies, and a police assistance desk will be set up in near public utility vehicle terminals along the road of Argao town in southern Cebu starting today.

Police Major Rolan Aliser, Argao Police Station chief, told CDN Digital in a phone interview that they were implementing these measures to help tourists, who would need assistance, and to ensure their safety while visiting the town, especially its resorts.

Aliser said that the tourists, who wanted assistance, could approach the police help desk and the one stop shop at the terminal.

He said the one stop shop at the terminal would also include personnel from Argao’s disaster risk reduction management office and other local agencies that could provide help to tourists./dbs
