CEBU CITY, Philippines — The 15-year-old boy, who is one of the two suspects in the rape of two minor girls, is now under the care of a center for children in conflict with the law.

This was revealed by Police Captain Dexter Barsigo, chief of Guadalupe Police Station, in an interview with CDN Digital on Wednesday, April 10, 2019.

Barsigo said his team along with members of the station’s Women and Children Protection Desk went to the family home of “Rey” (real name withheld) at 10 a.m.. on Monday, April 8, 2018, as part of the police’s hot pursuit operation.

Barsigo said Rey was sleeping when they found him in his home, 24 hours after he allegedly raped a 14-year old girl. His cousin, a 22-year-old man, who allegedly raped another 13-year-old girl, is still at large.
