CEBU CITY, Philippines —The Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) will be holding a coaches orientation this Saturday, April 13, 2019, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Cebu City Sports Center.
All coaches from any sporting event are invited to attend the orientation, which will be used as the basis of what sports will be included in the Coaches Certification seminar that will be conducted by the PSC from July 23 to 27 here in Cebu.
“We will identify five sports based on this Saturday’s coaches orientation,” said Nonie Lopez, the PSC-PSI (Philippine Sports Institute) director for the Visayas.
The top five sports which will have the most number of attendance of coaches will be prioritized, said Lopez.
This will also determine who will be the national coaches who will be invited to the Coaches Certification seminar to certify the local coaches.
According to Lopez, they will also try to identify the coaches’ needs through this Saturday’s Coaches Orientation. /bmjo
