Rama still not joining Cebu City candidates debate
CEBU CITY, Philippines – His decision remains.
Former Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama said that he is not joining the May 6 candidates debate organized by the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) Cebu City Chapter.
“I have made my position very clear and I have said (that) with all circumstances including the postponement (of the debate schedule to May 6), all the more reason I should not engage in debates,” Rama, the vice mayoral candidate of Barug PDP-Laban, said in a phone interview with CDN Digital.

For Mayor Tomas Osmeña, the Bando Osmeña Pundok Kauswagan (BOPK) mayoral candidate, Rama’s refusal to attend the political debate is a manifestation of his cowardice.
“Liebella (Vice Mayor Edgar Labella), you have an extra 2 weeks to convince your running mate to stop being a coward and join the debate. You ask whatever you want, I ask whatever I want. The entire event will be broadcast live on radio, TV, and social media, so please keep singing to a minimum 🎤 🎶,” Osmeña said in a Facebook post at around 8 a.m. today, April 22. /dcb
