Lapu-Lapu Bois win 19-under crown in the Wilson 3×3 Basketball Challenge

CEBU CITY, Philippines – The Lapu-Lapu Bois came away with the 19-under championship after they nipped Jax Basketball Camp A in the finals, 6-5, of the Wilson 3×3 Basketball Challenge – Season 2 on Friday, April 26, at the City Sports Club-Cebu.

The Lapu-Lapu Bois’ quartet is composed of John Nicole Jardin, James Paul Llenes, John Ryl Cacafranca and Allen Ray Augusto.

The quartet and other champion teams of this Cebu stop, all earned rights to represent Cebu in the national finals next month.

The Sisters of Mary School-Boystown also won the 16-under crown with a resounding 12-3 win over Julezsports A. The Aloysians’ team is composed of CJ Gonzales, Ryan Dizo, Michael Carin and Renzo Gantala.

Meanwhile, the Batang Elite Ballers, composed of James Jacalan, Kelaiah Tapic, CJ Mier and Alexander Dunque, defeated G2G, 6-4, to capture the 13-under trophy.

The Greenrose squad of Nino Matthew Solon, Richard Oswald Tabanas and Christian Dave Invento, grabbed the 11-under championship with a 7-4 win over SIPS./dcb
