Tatay Solomon finally went to see a cardiologist, plans Simala visit for thanksgiving
CEBU CITY, Philippines—Using the donations that he received from kind-hearted individuals, fruit vendor Solomon Alfanta, 76, finally went to see a cardiologist on May 3, 2019.
His youngest daughter, Analisa, told CDN Digital that they brought Tatay Solomon to the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center for his medical check up.
“Gi tag-an mig resita good for one month and duha ka laboratory tests nga maoy among dal-on sa pag balik namo sa June” said Analisa to CDN Digital.
(We were given a prescription for the medicines that he will have to take for a month and was directed to bring the result of two laboratory tests that he will have to undergo when he come back for the follow up check up in June.)
Netizens took pity of Tatay Solom after he was duped by a man with a fake P1,000 bill early morning on Easter Sunday.

Analisa, the youngest of Solomon’s seven children, said after his hospital visit, they are now a planning to bring Tatay Solomon to the Our Lady of Lindogon Shrine in Barangay Simala, Sibonga town for thanksgiving.
Their family wanted to especially say their prayers for all the individuals who sent the cash donations that they are now using for Tatay Solomon’s medication.
Analisa’s father was diagnosed with a heart ailment last year but never had the opportunity to seek medical attention because of their financial difficulties.

But despite all the help that he has been getting, Analisa said that Tatay Solomon continues to sell fruits at the new Minglanilla public market to raise money to support his family’s needs.
Tatay Solomon decided to take a break today, May 12, to rest and spend Mother’s Day with his wife Luceria. /dcb
