CEBU CITY, Philippines– Cebu City vice mayoral candidate Michael Rama suggested that voting centers be transferred from public elementary schools to universities.

Rama of the Barug PDP-Laban made the suggestion after he observed that voting centers were very crowded in today’s election.

He arrived at the Guadalupe Elementary School around 9 a.m.  to cast his vote at precinct no. 1370A.

While the voting itself uses technology, Rama said the facility has not improved.

He added that the voting centers were not well ventilated and had poor lighting.

According to Rama, these concerns should already be addressed in the next elections./dcb
