Central Visayas men’s football team makes Prisaa Nationals Finals
DAVAO CITY, Philippines – The Central Visayas senior football team manned by the University of San Carlos (USC) Warriors advanced to the finals of the ongoing 2019 Private Schools Athletic Association (PRISAA) National Games held here.
The team bagged its finals ticket at the expense of Region 9, whom they blanked 4-0 at the football field of the University of the Philippines on Thursday morning, May 23, 2019.
Keen Agot scored a brace while adding a goal each were Aldrich Pelenio and Andrew Pelicano.
The USC-manned Central Visayas team is gunning for its third PRISAA national senior football title after winning it back in 2012 and 2018.
Other members of the team are Jose Alicaya, Keandrei Andrade, KJ Kyle Bendoy, Nathaniel Buca, Paul Carizon, Terence Colmenares, Joshua Famador, John Reevo Jumawan, Karol Meneses, Ethan Royce Mendoza, Bertram Musni, Kent Vincent Nogar, Angelo Ouano, Steven Patalinghug, Harvey Peña, JS Paolo Saguin, Karol Taok, Pyke John Tinoy and Mark Unabia.
They will contest the title against the winner of the ongoing second semifinals pitting Western Visayas and Davao Region. /bmjo
