CEBU CITY, Philippines— The love for a sibling is undying.

This was proven when a video of a three-year-old girl bonding with her late two-year-old brother went viral recently.

Watch the video here:

The video was posted by the kids’ mother, Luxmi C. Saltiga, 28, a native of Ozamiz City in Mindanao.

The girl in the video was Lyxzoen June Amarille, Luxmi’s three-year-old daughter. Lyxzoen’s brother, Myxzuel John Amarille, 2, died last August 29, 2019, due to severe sepsis.

According to Saltiga, her three-year-old daughter used to fight with his younger brother over possession of their mom’s phone to watch their respective favorite shows on YouTube.

Missing her brother’s presence, Lyxzoen decided to share the phone to him this time, even while he was lying inside his casket.

“She even told her brother ‘Don, nice ayo ang salida oh! Watch ta ha?’ while knocking on the glass of the coffin,” says Luxmi.

After posting the video on her Facebook account, netizens poured their hearts out because of the undying bond between the two children.

The video, which was taken on September 2, 2019, was already viewed 849,000 times with 17,000 reactions and 19,000 shares with 46 comments as of September 24.

“After the burial, she even did it again. She let her brother watch again on the phone together and placed it in a chair and they watched YouTube again in front of the picture of her brother,” says Luxmi.
