British dive shop owner shot dead by security guard
A British dive shop owner was shot dead after a heated argument with a security guard at his establishment in sitio Tawigan, barangay Logon in Daanbantayan town at past 7 p.m. last Saturday.
Tony Gilchrisk was shot on the head and other parts of his body by 42-year old security guard Melchur Alciso Jr.
“Dili man pud siya hubog, naka-inom lang gyod (He’s not drunk, he just had a couple of drinks),” PO3 Alfredo Mandal said of Alciso Jr., who reported 40 minutes late because of a drinking session with friends.
The suspect is detained at the Daanbantayan police precinct mini-cell and he is scheduled for inquest proceedings tomorrow.
