Fire hits Ngohiong house, 5 houses in Junquera street
At least five houses were damaged in a fire that started at the kitchen of the old Chinese Ngohiong house in Junquera street, barangay San Antonio, Cebu City, Wednesday dawn.
Cebu City fire department received the alarm at 5:56 a.m. when workers of the Nghiong house were still preparing for the day’s orders and residents nearby are preparing for today’s work.
The damage was pegged at P300,000.
SFO1 Lowel Apolinitisima of the Cebu City fire department said that it reached second alarm before it was declared under control at 6:24 a.m.
