CIDG-7 operatives pinned medals

FOUR personnel of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group in Central Visayas (CIDG-7) yesterday were recognized for their exemplary performance in the campaign against loose firearms and arresting wanted persons.

Awarded were Senior Supt. Ritchie Posadas, chief of CIDG-7, his deputy Fermin Armendarez III, Insp. Teofilo Juanata and SPO1 Pablo Gentalian.

PNP CIDG chief, Director Benjamin Magalong pinned the medals on the four police officers.

Magalong named CIDG-7 as one of the top performing regional offices in the country.

Since last year, CIDG-7 has arrested 18 wanted persons that led to the giving of P12 million cash rewards to informants.

The CIDG-7 has also close to 100 firearms in various raids in Danao City.

Magalong also donated hand held radios to his CIDG-7.
