Ayala Centre Cebu in partnership with Department of Tourism acknowledges the rise of tourism in the city through the Tourist Incentive Program Awards 2014 on May 17, where top tourism agencies and tourist guides are awarded for bringing in tourists in the metro and making them experience our very own amazing Cebu.
Bringing tourists in doesn’t only boost our economy but gives us bragging rights in showing off our competitive metro to the rest of the world. This is proved by the awardees of the top tour agencies and tour guides awards who keep tourists up and going while strolling the city.
Awarded were for the top tour guides were Rolly Badayos coming in at 3rd place, Mary Grace Melendes at 2nd place and Renato Noval for the top place who viewed being a tour guide as an honorable job because it makes him feel proud of his roots.
Wrapping up to the event was Karylle and TJ Monterde from Polyeast Records who not only rocked the crowd but did a meet and greet as well with the awardees and passersby fans.
