CEBU CITY, Philippines– After photos of actress Nadine Lustre surfaced on the internet of her choice of hiking clothes, people made a big fuss out of it and Lustre had enough.
In the photo, it can be seen that Lustre was wearing a white top with a bikini bottom and a backpack.
But why?
Lustre took to her Instagram account and answered everyone’s curiosity once and for all.
In her Instagram stories posted it on the evening of January 9, 2021, she started by saying “I don’t have Twitter.”
Then came these IG stories:
She answered every basher by saying that she was indeed wearing shorts but had to let it dry for ten minutes after getting it wet.
“Ayokong magsuot ng basang shorts, kaya nagpatuyo muna ako ng mga 10 minutes ok,” she said.
She even stated if fact-checking is still a thing or being practiced by many.
This happened last week during a hiking trip that she and some of her friends went into with her alleged beau James Reid.
Lustre has been one of the most noted young artists who is never afraid to act the way she is and is very strong in making a stand with her own opinions. /dbs
