Fresh from a victory in the fourth provincial leg of the National Age Group Triathlon last month in Cagayan de Oro City, Miller maintained his winning form as he crossed the finish line at the Alegre Beach Resort in one hour, 47 minutes and 31 seconds to bag the men’s division title.

Finishing second was Jan Jayme Sinda (1:56.44) while Jezam Baldomar (2:00.46) completed the top three in the men’s division.

In the women’s division, Loveleinell Casidsid emerged the fastest after finishing the race with a time of 2:33.46.

Jun Marq Ocana claimed second place with a time of 2:37.38 while May Anne Mares rounded off the top three with a time of 2:45.44.

Jorry Ycong, meanwhile, lorded it over the men’s 16-29-years-old division with a time of 1:46.55. He was followed by Welmar Saavedra (2:00.14) and Stefan Lee Cagulada (2:06.02).

Around a hundred triathletes joined the race that was accredited by the Triathlon Association of the Philippines.
