CEBU CITY, Philippines— Lavish gifts are everywhere this Valentine’s Day and that’s no surprise.

That’s why partners from all around the world try and make it more unique every year.

And here in Central Visayas, this husband knows how to tickle and make his wife happy with very practical gifts.

Three bags of cement.

Jaypee Maglinte, 36, showed off his gift to his wife, Stephanie today, February 14, on his post on Facebook.

In the post, Maglinte shared the note that he placed on the bags of cement.

“To: Stephanie

Mo hatag unta ko ug bulak gang, pero ako nalang gi palit ug tulo ka sakong cemento aron mahuman na imong lababo. Happy Valentines! I love you

-J-Phong.”

(I would have loved to give you flowers, love, but I instead bought three bags of cement so that your lavatory would be done. Happy Valentine’s Day! I love you.)

This gesture is practically sweet and will surely go in the couple’s history books.

Maglinte shared that his wife was surprised with his gift.

“Daghan npud q na gamit na cemento 3 nkng aq na picturan pd. Pra 143 dw. Haha,” he added.

(I had already used so many bags of cement and that was just three bags that I took a photo of so that it signifies 143 [I love you])

So, can you top this Valentine’s gift? /dbs
