Weather Update: High chance of rain over the weekend
Ginatilan, Cebu– A vast portion of Cebu will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms due to the monsoon trough, the state weather bureau said on Friday, June 11.
“Taas ang chance sa mga pag-uwan until this weekend. Naa tay thunderstorm and rainshowers,” Jhomar Eclarino, weather specialist at Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration Mactan (Pagasa-Mactan) said.
(There will be a high chance of rain this weekend. There will be thunderstorms and rainshowers.)
The forecasted temperature for this weekend will range from 25 to 32 degrees Celsius and a heat index of 38 to 39 degrees Celsius.
Pag-asa Mactan advised the public to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards which include flash floods and landslides and to continue monitoring for updates.
