Multi-titled female triathlete Torres partners with Timex

Timex introduced in a press conference yesterday at the Ironman 70.3 Philippines Media Center its new brand ambassador, Monica Torres.
The press conference was held in connection with the celebration of Timex’s 160th anniversary.
Torres, an accomplished triathlete with numerous titles under her belt since 2009, is vying for the top place in the women’s pro division of the Cobra IronMan 70.3 Philippines race today, bearing the Timex brand on her tri-suit. She will also be using the Timex IronMan Run Trainer 2.0.
The petite Torres is the only Filipino triathlete competing in the professional category. She is known to be the fastest Filipina in the IronMan Philippines since its inauguration back in 2009 straight through 2013.
“I’m so happy to be part of the Timex family for 2014. It’s really been a part of my training since I was a beginner coming into the sport,” Torres said.
