MANDAUE CITY, Cebu—A lending supervisor was shot dead by a still unidentified man  inside an eatery along M.L Quezon Avenue in Barangay Cabancalan here on Tuesday morning, October 19, 2021.

The victim was identified by the police as Glenn Salubod, 26 years old, single, residing in sitio Mangga in Barangay Casuntingan. He is originally from Santa Ana Aloran in Misamis Occidental.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Eloveo Marquez, spokesperson of the Manduae City Police Office, said the victim was about to eat when he was shot by the assailant.

The suspect immediately fled the area onboard a motorcycle.

Marquez said the victim was a lending collector before he became a lending supervisor.

With this, Marquez said they are looking into  possible job-related behind the killing.

Marquez added that they already have a person of interest based on the plate number of the motorcycle used but this is still subject for verification.
