Bettor from Moalboal, Cebu wins P28.8 million lotto jackpot
CEBU, Philippines— A lucky bettor from Moalboal, southern Cebu won the P28.8 million jackpot prize of the 6/42 lotto draw on Thursday night, February 24, 2022.
The winning combination was 12-29-15-03-06-20. The jackpot prize was P28, 851, 800.80.
Based on the announcement by the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) on Friday, February 25, the bettor bought the winning ticket from an outlet in Moalboal, a town approximately 85 kilometers from Cebu City.
The Lotto 6/42 is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 9 p.m.
Some 121 bettors who won the five-digit combination would receive P24,000.00.

According to PCSO, prizes above P10,000.00 are subject to 20 percent tax pursuant to the TRAIN Law.
Prizes not claimed within one year from the date of the draw shall be considered forfeited.
